Internet concern for missing girl - BBC News


Concerns are growing for a 14-year-old girl who have gone missing from her place in Greater Manchester.


Police believe Stephanie Walsh of Highland Road, Oldham, may have got gone to ran into person she knew off the internet.


The adolescent was last seen at her place on Friday afternoon when she went to present a missive but never returned.


She is described as white, 5ft 4in (1.63m) tall, of medium construct with long mousy brownish hair. She was wearing bluish jeans, a achromatic jumper and achromatic jacket.


Det Insp Bill McGreavy of Oldham CID said: "It is very unusual for Stephanie to travel missing.


"She have now spent two nighttimes away from place and her household and the police force are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.


"It is possible she may have got gone to ran into person she met over the Internet.


"She have got got left the house without her pocketbook or mobile telephone so her parents have no manner of contacting her."


Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen Stephanie or cognizes where she is to reach them.
